NS113 35% Ni Corrosion-Resistant Alloy

NS113 35% Ni Corrosion-Resistant Alloy is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium-based solid-solution strengthened alloy that performs exceptionally well in extreme environments. It possesses a face-centered cubic (FCC) crystal structure, which, due to its high nickel content, maintains extremely high stability even during transitions from low temperatures to very high temperatures (above 1100°C) without exhibiting brittle phase transformations. At high temperatures between 600°C and 1000°C, the high chromium and silicon content allows NS113 to form an extremely stable protective layer. This makes it perform exceptionally well in cracking furnace tubes in the petrochemical industry, effectively resisting corrosion from carbon-containing gases (carburization resistance). NS113 has good hot and cold working properties. Hot working temperatures are between 1000°C and 1200°C. Due to its higher work hardening rate compared to ordinary carbon steel, high-power machine tools and high-strength cutting tools are required for cold working.
