The core advantage of the 1J50 low coercivity soft magnetic alloy lies in its extremely low coercivity (Hc). Coercivity is a measure of the magnetic field strength required to reduce the magnetic induction to zero when a magnetic material is magnetized by a reverse magnetic field. Low coercivity means that the material has extremely low hysteresis loss under alternating magnetic fields. The energy consumed in each magnetization cycle (the area enclosed by the hysteresis loop) is proportional to the coercivity. The low coercivity of 1J50 results in extremely low heat generation when operating in high-power power electronic devices, significantly improving the system's energy efficiency. Because the magnetic domain walls require almost no resistance to move, 1J50 can respond quickly to extremely weak current changes. This allows it to provide a near-perfect linear output curve in precision current transformers and current sensors.
